DIVORCE CARE

Divorce Care aims to help individuals find hope, help, and healing during and after separation and divorce. It is designed to encourage reconciliation whenever possible. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group that will walk alongside people during one of life's most difficult experiences.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY

The purpose of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry is to lift the arms of the church in prayer—going before the Father in intercession and praying on behalf of the needs, cares, and concerns of the church, pastor, and members.

RACHEL'S CIRCLES MINISTRY

The purpose of Rachel’s Circles Ministry is to minister and walk with mothers who have lost a child, whether it be a child who experienced life outside of the womb or one who perished within the womb.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to encourage women and develop their maximum potential spiritually, emotionally, physically, socially, and intellectually through the Word of God, prayer, worship, and sisterly fellowship.
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY (19-35)

The Young Adult Ministry aims to develop young adults into kingdom disciples. Additionally, the ministry seeks to inspire young adults to discover their purpose, exercise their gifts and talents, and grow their knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ.

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth at Mount Jezreel Baptist Church by providing relative programs and activities that will Educate, Equip, and Empower (E3) them to express and share their faith within their church, homes, and broader communities.

The purpose of the Diaconate Ministry is to serve and minister, pray, disciple, assist, encourage, and love the congregation of Mount Jezreel Baptist Church. It also helps the Senior Pastor with his needs, constantly prays for him and his family, and is available, humble, and moldable to Christ and His people.

The purpose of the Music & Arts Ministry/ Technical Arts Ministry is to glorify God and bring people into the heart of worship using all visual (signing/screens), auditory (audio), oratory (singing and music), and emotional (dancing and drama) means, as well as to develop mature and influential God-worshippers.

The purpose of the Trustee Ministry is to provide financial and budgetary oversight and to maintain the building and grounds. The Ministry is also responsible for the overall business of the church as it pertains to our members and outside entities dealing with the well-being of our congregation based on the foundation and principles of Jesus Christ.
USHER MINISTRY

The purpose of the Usher Ministry is to maintain order in the sanctuary during worship services. It strives to foster Christian fellowship and a standard procedure of ushering with a commitment to serve.

ARISE MINISTRY

The purpose of ARISE is to operate on behalf of the church by praying for and sharing the word of God with all hospitalized, shut-in, or nursing home-bound church disciples.
BEACON OF HOPE MINISTRY (Cancer Care)

The Beacon of Hope Cancer Ministry was established to provide support (i.e., survivors’ and caregivers' support), education, and care for patients diagnosed with cancer. The ministry works with the Arise Ministry to build a cohesive ministry that will be a sounding board for all survivors and provide them with the support they need and desire throughout their journey.
CHADASH MINISTRY

The Chadash ministry educates the Mount Jezreel Congregation and community on the signs of physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual abuse. They provide literature, workshops, and spiritual support while concurrently referring to the appropriate community resources.
COMMUNICATION MINISTRY

The purpose of the Communication Ministry is to support the Church and ministries of Mount Jezreel Baptist Church in sharing information accurately, effectively, and timely within the congregation, local communities, and abroad through various communication platforms (including social media channels).
COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM MINISTRY (COP)

The purpose of the Community Outreach Program Ministry is to minister to those in need of care, hope, and love. Participates in the non-profit food program (SHARE).
EDUCATION MINISTRY

The purpose of the Education Ministry is three-fold: To provide financial support to our high school graduates who are entering into college as well as smaller monetary support for currently matriculating college students to offset the costs of books or supplies. Also, provide information regarding education opportunities, other scholarships, internships, and other activities to support our youth in their educational pursuits.
FOOD BANK MINISTRY

The Healthy Temple Ministry provides our church with a foundation for promoting optimal wellness to prevent chronic disease by offering healthy lifestyle tips, dynamic activities, and programs supported by the Word of God.
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

The purpose of the Hospitality Ministry is to serve the church by greeting visitors, serving continental breakfasts, and assisting with birthday celebrations, community day, seasoned saints’ day, and funerals.

The purpose of the Jezreel Employment Ministry is to educate, empower, and equip individuals to maintain or obtain gainful employment opportunities from employers in the private and public sectors.
LOCASHA MINISTRY

The purpose of the LOCASHA Ministry is to make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate with specific focus on the needs of the children and the low-income elderly in the community.
MISSIONS MINISTRY

The purpose of the Missions Ministry is to support all missionary efforts of the church internationally, including missionaries on the field and short-term missionary teams to other lands for short-term service.
REACHING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FOR CHRIST MINISTRY

The purpose of RCFC is to provide spiritual development, guidance, and Christian fellowship to the children and families of the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF).
SAMARITAN MINISTRY

The purpose of the Samaritan Ministry is to assist the congregation during periods of discomfort during worship and administer first aid. The ministry also serves the community by providing support to the Healthy Babies Project's single parents and comforting the congregation during times of mourning by serving at funerals.
SOCIAL ACTION MINISTRY

The purpose of the Social Action Ministry is to provide social and political information relevant to the Mount Jezreel Baptist Church congregation and immediate communities. The ministry also acts as a conduit for disseminating information and resources that can be used to grow and develop the congregation.
